The CENTRAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, a Unit of Karnataka Milk Federation Ltd.,
started its training activities from 1st January 1985 and is located in the KMF Complex.

The
Objective of the Training Institute is to impart training in
different fields of activity to the milk producers who are
members of the Primary Dairy Cooperative Societies and to the
employees of the Member Milk Unions and KMF & its Units. The
training programmes envisaged will help in achieving
astounding success amidst the stiff competition prevailing in
the dairy industry.
Apart from
the above, CTI is also imparting training in Dairy Animal
Management to women under the "STEP" programme sponsored by
Government of India.
The
infrastructure available in the CTI is being made available to
other organizations on rental basis
only when
they can be accommodated without disturbing the regular
activities of the Training Institute
