The confederation of Indian Industry had organised a one day International Conference on Dairy Industry at New Delhi on May 14th 2010. The conference partnered country was by Newzealand represented by His Excellency Mr.Rupert Holborow, Newzealand High Commissioner to India and the Industry leaders from Newzealand participated The delgation from Karnataka Milk Federation which happens to be II largest milk cooperative in the country was lead by its Chairman, Sri.G.Somashekar Reddy along with Managing Director, Sri.A.S.Premnath and Director (Mktg), Sri.Ravikumar Kakade and Officer on Special Duty Mr.Abdulla.

The Karnataka Milk Federation on wednesday 7-4-2010 declared a hike in milk prices across the Karnataka State from Rs.3 to Rs.4 per ltr. The new prices will come into effect from Thursday 8-4-2010.
